We wanted to bring this up now, even though we aren’t doing a lot of “extreme programming” yet.
We can start pairing now. Watch this video about pair programming to get the feel for what we mean.
How can we start incorporating this idea today?
One thing that is important – is that pair programming is about problem-solving (I think) – and so you don’t really want to do it in a situation that is already figured out / or when you already know the answer.
You don’t need someone standing next to you telling you how to do the dishes or tie your shoes.
But if you’re starting a garden and don’t know how… then that would be great! time to pair up.
Or say – you know how to use the kitchen and all its tools… but are creating some new recipes.
