More info and examples coming soon (and many upcoming lessons on the subject)

We will be redoing this video!!! And / getting it back into the right order / on the next round. But for now! Here’s the old version before it was out of context.

Is my style tile doing it's job?

Are you done? Is it “right?” Instead, let’s figure out if it’s doing its job. Can the stakeholders clearly understand each style tile’s direction? Can they make decisions based on it?

  1. Does is show how the real copy will by used?

(as in sizing, spacing, contrast, and fonts?)

  2. does it show what types of visual tricks will be used?

Line quality? Flourishes? Buttons and links? active links – any borders?

  3. Does is show how the photography / art direction will be used?

What types of photos? Full bleed – vignette – color treatment, borders – and sizes / ratios etc

  4. Does it show the neutral contrasts like grays and the details of the ink?

    ?

  5. Does is show how color might play into it?

    You don’t usually need much.

  6. does it show how hover states and other active things like that will look/behave?

    ?

  7. What else?

Help us flesh this checklist out!
