What is this? You are viewing one of our supplemental "Stories." In addition to our core design curriculum, we are constantly building out additional resources. Stories are a collection of real work tasks, design history, UX explorations, and work-throughs. Stories are often off-the-cuff and less concerned with production value.
Introduction
The small business project
This is pretty early in the course. Students are given a choice of client – and without much explanation – they have 4 days to research, explore, prototype, design, and iterate. It’s more of a trial by fire. By wearing this many hats in a short time – it gives us a lot to talk about.
Featuring: Homebodies, Garage door express, That food truck, Come to you, Dermaology, We paint, Spencer’s guitars? It seems like some people weren’t done yet or something.
