How we designed our curriculum

You can read hundreds of books and take tons of courses and spend ten years working in every role in the industry – or – you can have someone guide you through the process.

This video goes over every book we talk about in the course / in what order Derek thinks you might want to read them. We talk about how the course material works over time. For a full written list of what we teach, please see the home page.

Since filming this, we’ve run 6 groups of students. We probably read 50-100 more books. We’ve audited 10 or so courses. And we took everything we’ve learned from the students and put it back into the course. Our students even design and build out all of the new features on the website. We’ll have to do a major update to this video and explain it. The system is working! It’s really cool to see it all come together and grow in ways we didn’t expect.
