Pair programming

We wanted to bring this up now, even though we aren’t doing a lot of “extreme programming” yet.

We can start pairing now. Watch this video about pair programming to get a feel for what we mean.

How can we start incorporating this idea today?

One thing that is important – is that pair programming is about problem-solving (we think) – and so you don’t really want to do it in a situation that is already figured out / or when you already know the answer.

You don’t need someone standing next to you telling you how to do the dishes or tie your shoes.

But if you’re starting a garden and don’t know how… then that would be great! time to pair up.

Or say – you know how to use the kitchen and all its tools… but are creating some new recipes.
