What kinds of projects will I work on?

Real ones. Programs here don’t hand you toy assignments — you’ll build things that mean something to you or that solve a problem someone actually has. Sometimes that’s a personal project you’ve been putting off, sometimes a tool, a site, an experiment, a piece of a bigger idea. The point is that the projects are substantive enough that you’d be willing to put them in a portfolio or show them to someone without apologizing first. What you make is yours to keep.
